I ventured down to the sleepy little beachside village of Evans Head last weekend. It is well known for its laid back feel, popular fishing spots, beautiful scenery and its proximity to the facilities and services of larger regional towns. In my Aussie travels, I can certainly say that Evans Head is the epitome of the quintessential beachside Australian town.
If there was ever a perfect place to holiday as a kid, this is most certianly it. The clear shallow waters of the river, the quaint main street with its retro offerings of ice creams or fish and chips or its minimal walking distance to the main beach, what more could a child on holidays need?
I also discovered that there are also adventurous bushwalking trails, an incredibly scenic lookout and beaches that would make any city dweller envious. But thats enough from me, now its your turn to discover why Evans Head is one of the most lovable small town destinations in NSW. For more info on the town or to find accommodation, call Casey and Adrian at North Coast Holiday Parks Evans Head... they've got you covered!
Bye for now!
