Christmas Countdown

27/11/2015

Estuary:

The lower lake will hold plenty of quality fish but will also be the playground for the holiday makers.Busy water .

Green Point , Coomba or one of the river systems will get you to uncluttered water and plenty of fish. Watch the tides and have a look around you maybe in for a pleasant surprise.

Bream, Flathead , Whiting, Mulloway and some northern species are bound to show up.

Surface action should be in full swing and don't forget the Bass further upstream.

Spotted 5 Kings to a metre in the channel last week.Great looking fish unstopable on Bream /Flathead gear.

Rocks:

Maybe still early for the LBG crews but you never know. The northern current is pushing at the moment and will be loaded with pelagics.

Offshore:

Reports already of Mahi Mahi in numbers and size. Kings have shown up with fish to 15kilo being landed.Reds have been consistant for months for those who wake early. Quality fish all year.Bonito , Macks etc should start very soon with larger predators showing up behind them. Hopefully the run of Spaniards will be as good as last year.

Beach:

Mulloway , Bream ,Dart and Whiting can be expected close to shore with a few Salmon for sport.
