At Seal Rocks beach fishing is definitely at its most pleasurable at the moment, conditions are very mild making it a great time to fish.

As well as the ever dependable whiting and flathead, anglers have also been catching tailor off the beach with some reports of dewfish after dark.

A professional fisherman once told me the secret with beach fishing is to check out the beach at low tide or on a calm day to see how the beach really looks, identify gutters and sandbars so you know where to fish when the time comes. But most importantly get out there have a go and have a good time doing it!
