The estuary is fishinf as wellas i have seen. Bream to a kilo are not uncommon, both on baits and small hard bodies in or around the racks. The paddock in particuliar is on fire so there is no need to venture to far up into the lake itself. However, large fish have been caught in the main body of the lakeover the last month.
The breakwall is still holding Mulloway as normalwith big bream and the odd trevally also on the chew.
Offshore has been pretty lumpy keeping most boats tied up.A few Trag and Bonito in close.
The rocks have been producing Groper, Drummer and Luderick with the big seas churning up the cunjevoi and shell fish.
Beaches have had Salmon and Tailor all over them. Early cool mornings and late afternoons are the go. You can't miss throwing slices or bait.
Get out and have ago.
Great winter fishing
