Pancakes for breakfast anyone?

I love Pancakes for breakfast. What a way to start the day! I eat my pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup, but sometimes I enjoy simpler pancakes with some banana instead. I also love Macadamias. I have family who own a small macadamia farm in the Hunter Valley. When I was younger I would visit and my job was to crack the shells. I spent hours cracking shells off macadamias, my payment was a container full to take home.

When I moved to Ballina I was really glad to learn of The Macadamia Castle. How often do you find one place where you can have all of your favourite things? Pancakes, Macadamias and most importantly: adorable animals.

If you come to beautiful Ballina a trip to The Macadamia Castle is a must, especially if you have kids to entertain! Begin your day with a bite to eat in the Café Macca, pancakes are a hit but there are plenty of other delicious options to choose from (if you’re really hungry, the Big Breakfast is for you!). After breakfast head on in to the animal park where you can meet with a variety of animals and reptiles, wombats, joeys, rabbits, goats, owls, snakes, frogs… the list goes on!

The Macadamia Castle really does top the list of things to do with kids whilst in Ballina!

Ps. Don’t forget the macadamias!
