Relax, Unwind and Enjoy!

09/08/2015

The inland areas of the Coffs coast are magical with plenty to do and see. You may wish to have a day trip or even stay to get away from the hustle and bustle. We all know that “everybody always has the same idea” so why not be the one who has a different idea and venture out to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Have you been to Dorrigo? Dorrigo is approx. 60km west of Coffs Harbour. This small town sits 1000m above sea level on the edge of the Great Dividing Range escarpment! It is also the gateway to the World Heritage listed Dorrigo National Park. You can walk along the bush walk trails, waterfalls and even go out on the skywalk (AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!). The town boasts good country food and its worth relaxing drink or two wink

For your next adventure, explore Bellingen. You will drive through Bellingen to get to Dorrigo, however a stop in on the way back is a MUST! This little township is full of life and culture and is an experience on its own. The arts and crafts, the shops, the food are all superb and if you happen to be around the area on the 3rd Saturday of the month,  be sure to check out the Bellingen markets, you will not be disappointed!

Last but not least if you haven’t been to the small town of Mylestom, do yourself a favour and do it! This beautiful small community town is just off the pacific highway in between Urunga and Coffs Harbour and is located between the beautiful Bellingen River and the beach. With the local corner store/café, surf club, dog friendly beach, bush walks and top fishing spots you can’t go past it. Even if you spend the day or night (you will want to stay longer) it is a magical spot to relax and reboot cool

Don’t forget to pop in and say hi to us here at North Coast Holiday Parks, North Beach in Mylestom! Feel free to look around the park and enquire about accommodation to suit your needs!

Happy Adventures………
