I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend so far!
The first week of the school holidays, the weather wasn't all that great.. Windy, rainy and thunderstorms here in Ballina. Not the best weather for an outdoor camping or caravanning adventure. Of course we can make do by visiting the movies, going bowling, checking out the markets and enjoying meals in nice cafes. We survived the bad weather and still had a great time..
But my oh my, the weather for the past few days and this weekends forecast has well and truly made up for those days of unpleasant weather! Everytime I look outside the office window I cannot help but smile and think of summer... The sun is SHINING! We have a forecast of between 26 and 28 degrees for the rest of the weekend, and the sky is clear of those pesky rain clouds (finally...)
Whatever you are up to this weekend in Ballina; fishing, swimming, surfing, bike riding, hanging out on the beach, playing cricket, soccer, footy, having a picnic, dolphin watching - (the list of things to do is never ending) I hope you enjoy and make the most of this spectacular weather!
Ps. Oh and most importantly, when the sun is shining like this, please wear a hat, keep hydrated, and NEVER go without suncreen.
