Winter bite


Estuary: Flathead still on the bite with a number of fish over 70cm being landed this past week.Bream are the main stay with quality fish taking plastics , hard bodies and fresh baits.Luderick have enetered the lake in numbers with big fish at the entrance. Jews on a reguliar basis on both walls with Forster side a favourite.

Rocks: Bream , Drummer and Tailor on most headlands and washes Drummer to 50cm are a reguliar occurence unless you are fishing with me.A couple of large Mac Tuna have been landed from the stones as well as a 1.2m LongTail leaving late.


Offshore: The wind has slowed a lot of skippers from going wide, however Snapper have been landed on close reefs and quality fish amongst them. Kings are still being landed on a reguliar basis.


Beach; Bream and Tailor on most beaches with the nights providing some Jew action.
