The museum has been open to the public since 1987. It contains historical buildings such as the first National Bank, Tuncurry school & the Police Lock-up Cell used from 1949-1959, a 1940s pioneer cottage containing artifacts related to the Great Lakes area. Also see models of ships & lots more.
Open Tues, Wed, Thurs 10am-2pm. Sun 1pm-4pm. Other times by appointment.
