Byron Bay Triathlon Temporary Road Closures

The Byron Bay Triathlon will affect the following roads between 12 – 3.45pm on Saturday, 7 May 2016:

• Bay Street, between Fletcher Street, and Middleton Street

• Middleton Street, between Bay Street and Marvell Street

• Marvell Street, between Middleton Street and Tennyson Street

• Tennyson Street, between Marvell Street and Browning Street

• Bangalow Road, between Browning Street and Broken Head Road

• Broken Head Road, from Bangalow Road to the Ballina LGA boundary

• Lawson Street, between Middleton Street and Massinger Street

Northbound traffic from Lennox Head will detour up Ross Lane to the Pacific Highway.

In Byron Bay CBD there is a crossing point at Ruskin Street and Kingsley Street to allow east /west movement of traffic.  Please expect delays.

Residents wishing to access Suffolk Park are respectfully requested to avoid this area between 12.30pm and 2.00pm, which will be the peak loading of cycles near Clifford Street.
