Family Feud - the highs and the lows!

The day after the evening before ... the disappointment lingers (Thanks Glen!)

So we made it, the episode was screened last night and everyone got to see my two brothers, cousin and I fall at the last hurdle. After a particularly slow start, not without some controversy (Scotty played back his buzzer strike in slow motion and swears he hit it first!), we scrambled in the third round to get 146 points and hit the lead.

For those of you who watched the episode, the name Glen will be forever etched into our minds. Apologies to one of my good mates 'Gerard' for not thinking that you would score points, especially when Gene was my alternate answer.

I had a great time and got to invent my very own spider. Thanks to everyone for the light hearted ribbing I have received since the show. For the record 'Tunnel web spiders' are unique and native to Evans Head so you will all have to come visit if you want to see one.

We raised $101 via our gold coin donations for the BBQ and Casey and I will match and donate a total of $202 to our chosen charity 'Warming Beautiful Souls'.

A big congratulations to Jo-Anne Sly with her guess of 150 points which was the winner of our competition for two FREE nights in a cabin at any Reflections Holiday Park.
