Hawkes Nest to Seal Rocks - 82km


Seal Rocks

Seal Rocks is a small coastal settlement that enjoys a moderate climate of warm summer seas and gentle breezes, sunny winter days and cosy winter nights. Famous for its many premier surfing beaches including Lighthouse Beach Treachery and Yagon this destination attracts surfers from across the globe. These beaches are perfect to enjoy the migrating whales or watch the dolphins play in the waves. There are pristine uncrowded bays for swimming, snorkeling, boating and fishing and memorable diving at local shipwrecks and grey nurse habitats.  


Seal Rocks is home to Sugar Loaf Point lighthouse, and a beautiful walk takes you up to enjoy the view. This is just one of many walks in the area. The rugged natural environment and sheltered beaches make this the perfect destination to get away and put your feet up. The recently fully sealed all weather road makes this an accessible destination for Caravans. Recent upgrades to the park make it a pleasure to visit and high quality cabins are right across the road from the beach.

Seal Rocks to Forster/Tuncurry - 45km


The Forster and Tuncurry areas are a playground for those who love water sports and fishing. Dolphin and whale watching, sailboarding and scuba diving are all on tap to enjoy year around. The 43km stretch of coast from Forster south to Seal Rocks encompasses some of the most beautiful and uncrowded surfing locations in NSW.


Try the famously fresh local oysters farmed in Wallis Lake and climb the steep 223m summit of Cape Hawke for spectacular views. Just south of Forster Tuncurry, is Booti Booti National Park which incorporates a spectacular stretch of coastline between Cape Hawke and Seagull Point.

Forster/Tuncurry to Bonny Hills and North Haven - 89km

The Camden Haven area on the NSW Mid North Coast is just thirty minutes south of Port Macquarie and forty minutes north of Taree. It hugs the Camden Haven River as it winds through the lush Comboyne Plateau to the sea. The river wanders through a  magnificent valley dotted with the villages of Lorne, Kendall, Kew, Laurieton,  and Dunbogan before reaching the river mouth between North Haven and Camden Head. Bonny Hills and North Haven to Scotts Head - 30km

Scotts Head

Just 10 kms off the Pacific Highway and about a 15-minute drive south of Macksville is the surfing and holiday destination of Scotts Head.  Surfing, walking, fishing or just catching the rays can be enjoyed at a choice of three beaches.


Surf Club Headland and Elephant Head are perfect for observing thedolphins and migrating humpback whales during the winter months , listen carefully for the whale songs.


Scotts Head is an ideal rock and beach fishing area with plenty of rocky outcrops. Boat ramps are located at the southern end of Main Beach and at Weir Reserve, Warrell Creek. Nambucca Heads to Urunga and Hungry Head - 21km

Urunga and Hungry Head to Mylestom - 13km



Mylestom is a small quiet village located a short five minute drive off the Pacific Highway. The village is nestled between the ocean and the beautiful Bellinger River. Beautiful North Beach stretches for miles and has excellent fishing. Tuckers Rock and Bundadgen, and the river mouth are all wonderful walks for those who enjoy beach combing. The beach is patrolled in season in front of the surf club. There are plenty of  picnic areas along the beautiful Bellinger River that are enjoyed well into the evening where many enjoy watching the sun disappear behind a spectacular maintain backdrop. The tidal pool is great for swimming and offers shady areas to enjoy the day.

Moonee Beach to Corindi - 24km



The dear little seaside town of Corindi Beach has a Tavern, Tennis Court, local shop that makes delicious hamburgers and is situated on the prettiest rugged beach you can imagine. This is a place to visit if you love to get away from it all, enjoy the great outdoors and watch the sunrise across the ocean in the mornings.


The village is situated 33 km north of Coffs Harbour and 50 km south of Grafton. The area is rich in indigenous culture and the   Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre provides information on the Gumbaingirr Aboriginal people's history and customs.

Red Rock is popular with those who enjoy nature and the outdoors. This quiet village is nestled on the estuary of the pristine Corindi River, at the southern end of Yuraygir National Park. Byron Bay to Brunswick Heads - 18km


Brunswick Heads

Beautiful unspoilt Brunswick  is a situated at the mouth of the Brunswick River. The north bank of the river hosts a protected rainforest and the southern bank provides a harbour and small marina for fishing boats and small craft. 


Brunswick Heads has retains its traditional seaside village atmosphere. Timber bridges link the riverside to a safe, quiet beach at the mouth of the Brunswick River and to the surf beach that spans the coastline all the way to Byron Bay.
